Hank was able to convince Grandma Janet to play "Mother May I" up at Jordanelle. He is so funny. Grandma Janet also taught Hank to play "War" the card game so watch out he is getting good.
So I ordered some picture books from Kodak. Yes I gave up that I would get any scrapbooking done this summer. I ordered one that covered Raspberry days 2007 and Christmas 2007. I was looking at them and realized how quickly Hank has changed and grown. I am still so amazed by this. I know that he is 5 and starting big kid school but WOW how do you deal with the constant growing.
I might not be able to post much for the next little while. I am busily attending UOP and my class is Mythology, which so far I actually find interesting. I am also in the Finals time frame for massage school. Hank is camping this weekend with mom. We are leaving Wednesday night for Bear Lake. YEAH! four days of relaxation. The following weekend we have a family wedding, the weekend after that is Bear Lake again for Raspberry Days. I can not beleive how quickly this summer has gone. Then just 1 1/2 weeks until he starts school. Then we have to figure in time for homework.
I will have to post again later about Hank wanting to field trip to my work since they went to another classmates parents work. But right now I have to get a paper done for a class tomorrow morning.
I saw this on my cousins blog and thought it would be fun! Please participate. I can't wait to see what people put here!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.
In case anybody notices I have been changing the names of a few of my posts. I did not realize how many people were drawn to my blog because of certain post titles. I will attempt to name them more generic in the future! Thanks Carole for the information.
Our first visit to the Hogle Zoo for this year My friend Kent and his daughter joined us
I think everyone has a picture with thier head in the lion This is the new "ride" I think he will be bigger one of these days
This elephant spits at you
We had a great time, and I am happy that we got the Zoo pass for this year. Four hours was a little long for Hank so now we can just go for a couple of hours at a time. We didn't even get to the Discovery park yet which is geared for the little kids. I think he will really like that.
I let Hank choose his favorite spot for dinner. And surprisingly enough he didn't choose McDonalds or Wendys but he did choose Burger King. He still had a good time.
On Hanks birthday I took a cake into his class. They had a good time. I also gained a new appreciation for his teacher, I went crazy after twenty minutes she does this all day! So I want to say Thank you to Ms. Sara for all of her hard work.
