Our first visit to the Hogle Zoo for this year My friend Kent and his daughter joined us

I think everyone has a picture with thier head in the lion

This is the new "ride" I think he will be bigger one of these days

This elephant spits at you

We had a great time, and I am happy that we got the Zoo pass for this year. Four hours was a little long for Hank so now we can just go for a couple of hours at a time. We didn't even get to the Discovery park yet which is geared for the little kids. I think he will really like that.

Hanks Birthday Dinner

I let Hank choose his favorite spot for dinner. And surprisingly enough he didn't choose McDonalds or Wendys but he did choose Burger King. He still had a good time.

Wow mom my card barks!

Hanks School Birthday

On Hanks birthday I took a cake into his class. They had a good time. I also gained a new appreciation for his teacher, I went crazy after twenty minutes she does this all day! So I want to say Thank you to Ms. Sara for all of her hard work.

I was tagged

I was tagged from a friend on SparkPeople. By the way I love this site!

10 years ago: I was managing a conveneience store in Bountiful Utah. I had no children, and one dog.

5 things on today's to do list: Write two school papers, attend classes tonight, fold laundry, water the grass, work.

Snacks I enjoy: South Beach diet high protein cereal bars - Peanut Butter

If I had millions: I would buy two four wheelers, pay off my car. Take my son to Disneyland. Then save for his college and our future.

Birthday party for FOUR kids are we crazy.....

So we decided to have a crazy birthday party for Hank, Abby, Emily and Sam. It was a total blast and I think that everyone had a great time. The Pinata was fun...

Hank drinking a Capri Sun.

Hit the pinata!!!!

Hank and his friend Peyton.

Sam with his special baloon

Everyone line up by your age...how does this work when five kids are the same age? Then Aunt Carole has rules. Like don't run and get candy until I scream Happy Birthday. Only she wasn't paying attention and when the pinata burst the kids were a little confused for a second. Then she caught up and said Happy Birthday it was fun.

THANK YOU! Aunt Carole for all the hard work you guys did to get the party ready.

Carole's Visit

Here are a few pictures of when my sister Carole was here to visit. I will post birthday pictures in another post.

Birthday

So my birthday came and went! I do feel a little older, but at least my sister is the same age! Friday was the last day of my week long conference, and I was glad that was over. Went out to lunch and a movie with a friend. We saw the new Indiana Jones, it is funny in parts. Then that night we had the rehearsal dinner for Andrews wedding. It was out at their new house and it was fun. My Uncle Jon had everybody sing me happy birthday! After dinner Hank and I went home to get some rest, this was going to be a busy weekend. I will post again later about the wedding and post some pictures.

I can't beleive June is here...

Well I told myself that I was going to blog more frequently and then all of a sudden Hank asked me to mark off the days on his calender and I realized it is June. I mean I knew it was June but it didn't really hit me until tonight. I have been moving, and attending a conference all week. So for now or new apartment is a mess, with boxes everywhere. Our old apartment needs to be finished cleaning (which I will do on Friday). And then our cousin is getting married on Saturday. Sometimes I wonder when I will have the time to just breath. I will try and post more this weekend. Hopefully with some pictures.

I am happy to report that I have one strawberry, it is still green. And one little tomato growing in our garden. At least the rain has made it so I don't have to figure out time to water the garden.

Sugarhouse Park...

So if you are walking down a path and a bigger kid yells "MOVE" I suggest that you move and not just freeze and look at him. Because if that is what you do, then you will end up with some bruising and pain. Although Hank is such a trooper he only held his gatorade bottle on the eye for about five minutes then was just happy to find out that he wasn't bleeding anymore. When I explained that he might end up with a black eye he started crying! So my child can get run over by a kid riding a bike and only shed a few tears, but if you tell him that he will get a bruise he cries!
The sad part for me is that he ended up with a little scar under his eye. But I guess since he is a boy maybe he can make up a cool battle story about it when he gets older. I have a scar by my eye too.
